cut out the pattern

attach 2 front patterns to back pattern,

add in darts in front and back to make piece fitted,

fitted,

attach sleeves,

shorten jacket and add bias bind to the opening of jacket, test out ruffle,

draw out pattern for shoulder pads

attach shoulder pads,

pattern for outter layer

outer layer cut and sewn.

dye main body purple,

attach outer layer.

assemble cuffs

attach cuffs

attach zip

add ruffles and buttons on front and sleeves

Pattern Cutting "designed shirt,"

For this project we had to design a shirt and make a toile of it "practise garment",

in doing so I discovered that I needed to enlarge the collar and round of the sides of the shirt.
